The CIN runs a magazine/directory, and has recently registered two radio stations in Zambia.
Magazine
Our magazine/directory is aimed at
publicizing the location of churches, business houses, various organizations, various professions, and agencies. We aim to
encourage the church to be involved in issues that are occurring in the country and around the world. We also include stories
of interest.
Radio Station
We have registered two (2) FM community radio stations; one is based in a rural area and the other in a peri-urban
area. In order for us to go on air, we need funding to enable us purchase the equipment necessary.
The
aim of these stations is to provide to the community a medium of expression, create jobs and generally promote development
in these two regions. Our goal is to eventually cover the whole country. The radio stations will benefit the community
in many ways.
Topics
to be aired will include the following:
-
Preserving
the environment.
-
Education.
-
Preventing
destructive methods of fishing.
-
Agricultural
development and trade.
-
Health
matters - to include child and maternal health, malaria and TB.
-
Promotion
of traditional artesanal crafts and curios.
-
Tourism.
-
Culture.
-
Anti-corruption.
-
Anti-smuggling.
-
Anti-drug.
-
Entertainment.
We invite all those that are willing to
help us achieve the above projects to please get in touch with us. Thank you!
